UPDATE! As of today Nov 30th. Our 2015 Season has been Great! This cooler wet weather is when we start our Striper guided trips. In this fishing report is J.B Bennett of Okmulgee. J.B. is the man that got me to become a fishing guide here in Oklahoma some 18 years ago. It just seems like yesterday that I would get a late night call asking me if i would like to go fishing in the morning. It didnt make us a difference if it was freezing rain, snow, or 30mph winds we were gone. J.B ran Jig Blue Guide Service until he retired. Every year I hear from J.B old clients its good to hear the old storys of trips from the past. This year has been one our best years guiding on Oklahoma lakes an Rivers. Weve had so many great trips meeting new clients and showing them our fishing techniques. Not to mention all of our old fishing friends that some how manage to come back fishing with us year after year. Its always great to see them again. November has came in with a typical Fall weather pattern, And as the weather cools off. The fishing has really turned on. Fishing has really been good over the last week. Now the lakes are back above there normal water levels with all the rain we have got over the Thanksgivining holiday weekend. We have been Crappie fishing over the last week catching some really nice fish. This time of year is our favorite time to be on the Lakes an Rivers using light tackle and jig fishing. Even our Striper trips were using light tackle this can make for some exciting fishing. So far this year fishing has been good even in the cooler fall weather. High water is having a effect on some fishing in the Rivers at this time but the lakes are starting to level off and the fishing is picking up. Crappie fishing has been good over the last week so If your wanting to get into some good crappie fishing nows the time. Were starting to get alot of bookings for our Winter Striper trips So please plan ahead and book in advance if you want a certain date. You can always call to check on dates and we do get cancelations from time to time your date might be open even on short notice. There is a lot of places to stay and eat around the Eufaula area. This weeks fishing report is all Good. Crappie are biting good on jigs and minnows around deep brush piles 14 to 20 ft deep. Large Mouth Bass are biting good in coves and around points. Cat fishing is excellent on jug lines and Rod An Reel in river channels using cut shad and Worms. White Bass fishing is Good on points and humps using spoons and jigs and trolling deep diving lures if you can find some clearer water. Striper fishing trips will start in Dec, its setting up to be a great year with releases from the dams fishing sould really pick up we just need it to get colder to drop the water temps. This will really turn on the stripers. If you have any questions or would like to book a trip with our guide service call Larry at 918 758 9139. Most of our trips are going out of Eufaula Cove Marina, Lake Eufaula's largest full service marina, Until next time, Good Fishing! Your Outdoor Adventure Guide. Larry
