UPDATE! As of today April 14 , Were now in our pre-spawn fishing pattern. These Fish in this weeks photo were caught Sunday April 6th 2014, on Lake Eufalua. We have been catching Crappie an Catfish over the last few weeks. This past Sunday Fishing Lake Eufaula our best bite was in the Morning. We were catching Crappie in 4 to 8ft of water over drop offs and creek channels and along banks. The Crappie are just now moving in to there spawning areas of the lake. Water temps have been in the mid 50s to low 60s were starting to find some fish on the banks in some areas. 2014 is going to be another great year of fishing on Lake Eufaula. With Pre spawn fishing just now getting under way there's nothing more on the outdoormans mind than catching a few fish and getting out on the water. This time of year is our favorite time to be out on the lakes and rivers. Even with the cooler weather you can still catch some nice fish if you just stick with it. The weather has made little change in the fishing so far this Spring and it seems to have helped the Crappie. Over all fishing has been Good this past week. This weeks was all about Crappie, This past Sunday was a great day to be on the water. I fished with two guys that had just complete law school and treat themselfs to a day of Crappie fishing. Fishing is really starting to pick over the last week. Some of the best fishing of the year is in the Spring. So If you would like to book a trip or just call to ask questions about our services please do. We take a lot of people out every year and we like to make sure everyone gets to go and has a great time. There is a lot of places to stay and eat, around the Eufaula area. This weeks fishing is good. Crappie are biting good on jigs and minnow around deep structure. Large Mouth bass are biting fair around points and small coves. Catfishing is good on jug lines on cut bait in river channels. Striper fishing is fair and White bass fishing is Good with good reports starting to come in from the Horseshoe Bend area in NE Oklahoma.
