UPDATE! As of today Feb 20th. Were now starting off our 2015 fishing season. 2014 was our best year guiding on Oklahoma lakes an Rivers. Weve had so many great trips meeting new clients and showing them our fishing techniques. Not to mention all of our fishing friends that some how manage to come back fishing with us every year. Its always great to see them again. January has come in with a winter blast and beleive it or not all fishing has really been good. We have been Striper and Crappie fishing over the last month catching some nice fish. Starting in January is when we started our Striper trips so look for updates. This time of year is our favorite time to be on the Rivers using light tackle. Even our Striper trips were using light tackle this can make for some exciting fishing even in the cold weather. Today we fished in the lower Illonis river we had a Great day Striper fishing and even picking up a few hugh Crappie as seen in this photo. So far the year fishing has been good even with the colder weather. Were starting to get alot of bookings for this spring Crappie season we take a lot of people out every year and we like to make sure everyone gets to go and has a great time. So please call ahead of time for bookings. There is a lot of places to stay and eat around the Eufaula area. This weeks fishing report is Good. Crappie are biting good on jigs and minnows around boat docks. Large Mouth Bass are biting slow around points and small coves. Cat fishing is good on jug lines on cut bait in river channels. Striper fishing is Good and White Bass fishing is fair. If you have any questions or would like to book a trip with our guide service call Larry at 918 758 9139. Most of our trips are going out of Eufaula Cove Marina, Lake Eufaula's largest full service marina, Until next time, Good Fishing! Your Outdoor Adventure Guide. Larry
